Making of Chee Cheong Fun

Hasn't made this asian delicacy for a long while. Today i decided to do it again for this super hot afternoon snack.

The ingredients :
70 g Rice flour
1 tbsp wheat starch
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tsp salt
1-2 tbsp of oil
230 ml of room temperature water

Method
1. Mix all the above together and let it stand for an hour.
2. Prepare your steamer and have 2 anti-adhesive trays or you can grease it.
3. After an hour, stir well the batter again and ladle some onto the tray.
4. Put to steam when the steamer is ready. Steam over high heat for about 7 minutes. (my stove kind of not level, hence the end product had uneven thickness)
5. Remove from steamer, and put another tray in. With the help of a scraper, lift up the kueh and carefully roll it up.
6. Put on a serving plate and cut it up with your scraper.
7. Put some sauce over and remember to sprinkle with plenty of grilled sesame seeds.

For the sauce :
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar (i used dates syrup)
1/2 tsp sesame oil

Stir well.

(p.s. I doubled up the proportion and based on my tray size, it can made about 4 rolls).
