Peach shaped steam buns

First attempt on this recipe. I know it turned out not so presentable, i guess is due to the colour which is too strong. The shape is almost there, but still not perfect. I will try it another time to perfect it.

Ingredients
(make about 9 -10, depends on the size)

125 ml of Water (30 d.c.)
+ 1 packet yeast
+ 1 tsp sugar
+ 1 tsp oil
Stir well and stand for 10 - 20 minutes.

Dry mixture :
1 cup of flour (150 g)
+ 1 tsp baking powder

Method:
1. Add the yeast mixture to the dry and mix and knead till smooth. Cover and allowed to ferment for an hour. The dough should raise double.

2. Transfer the dough to a floury working table. Then knead until the dough is back to its original size.

3. Then bunched up into a strip. And cut into 10 small parts. Knead every single dough, each takes about 1 minute. Must be in rubbing force. Stand for 5 minutes.

4.  From the outside roll to the inside, outer ring is thin while middle is thicker.

5.  Put the paste of your choice (here i have lotus paste ready made), closed well. Finish with the rest till the last dough.

6.  Molded into a tear-drop shaped. Press a line with knife blade.

7.  Brush red colour at the top with a little of red food colouring. And then brush over with some oil.

8.  Into the steamer with a cheese cloth. Let dough 'relaxation' for 15 minutes later. Steamer with cold water, put on the heat. After the water starts to boil, steam for 10 -15 minutes. REMEMBER do not open the lid, until after steaming completed 5 minutes.

9.  Remove from steamer and serve immediately. I left it to cool completely before storing it to the freezer.
